Customer Support Engineers / Field Engineers

To provide on-site Installation, Maintenance & Support Services to our business clients in the UK.

One position is to cover the South of England, primarily Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, South Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Middlesex, London, Surrey & North Hampshire from a location somewhere around Uxbridge.  The other is to cover the South Midlands, primarily West Midlands, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire from a location around Banbury.

The following are considered essential for this position:

Competence in, and experience of, the installation, support and troubleshooting of:

Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange Server & Microsoft ISA Server, especially as the Microsoft SBS product (SBS 2000 & SBS 2003), although experience and competence in Novell Netware, Novell Groupwise & Novell Border Manager with a wish to migrate towards the Microsoft products would be considered, as we are still supporting a number of clients with Novell networks.

Intel/AMD platform Servers, PC's and Notebooks in the network environment.

Network Infrastructure products. (Hubs, Switches, Routers, Terminal Adapters, Modems etc)

Mail Client and Internet Browser Software. e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express & Internet Explorer.

Anti-Virus software, preferably McAfee VirusScan, NetShield & GroupShield or Sophos

Backup Software, preferably Symantec Backup Exec.

Colour Laser Printers, Mono Laser Printers, Inkjet Printers, Impact Printers (Dot Matrix Printers), Scanners, Cameras and other accessories used in the business environment.

Experience in the following would be a useful but not essential:

Linux, Apple Mac, Equisys Zetafax, Symantec Winfax Pro,  Sage Line 50, Sage ACT, Computer Associates ArcServe.

 

Sales Executive

To sell our IT Products & Services to new and existing business clients in the the Midlands and the South of England.

The following are considered essential for this position:

Experience in the sale of IT Solutions: Supply, Installation, Maintenance & Support of Servers, Network Infrastructure, PCs & Notebooks in the business network environment.

 

For all three positions, a full UK driving licence and the ability to communicate in the English Language, in both written and verbal form, are essential.
